We specialize in builds that go far beyond anything a bicycle shop can offer. Your bicycle will receive meticulous and methodical assembly that is the hallmark of Rosebud's reputation.
Our bike builds typically take 12-20 hours to complete. After the frame finish is wrapped in a protective shield, all contact points on the frame and fork are prepared with state-of-the-art tools that are kept at their optimum sharpness for precise material removal guaranteeing components that are perfectly parallel for unrestricted movement and engagement. The frame/fork module is then measured by lasers in 3-D for a perfectly aligned chassis. Alignment is corrected and frame and fork dropouts are machined for flawless tracking.
Seat tube, head tube, steerer, bottom bracket, seat clamp and stem are faced, honed and machine polished in a three-step process removing any edges or surfaces that lead to stress-risers.

Renewal
Our Renewal service isn't a total bicycle restoration that many of our customers come to us for, rather it is a painstaking uberhaul
you'd do on your own bike 1-2 times a year if you had the time, experience and resources.
The process deconstructs every component down to its cellular level
and reconstructs the pieces to a synchronized and free-flowing whole. Parts are ultrasonically cleaned, bolt threads chased, gouges in derailleur cages, cogs, chainrings and seatposts are machined and polished then reassembled to a new level of operation and performance.
Wheels are brought into optimum tension a via the a DT digital tensiometer connected to a wheel software readout ensuring perec, long-lasting wheels. Hub bearings are polished for the smoothest spin imaginable.
Restoration
We can bring back any vintage or new-classic bike back to a concours level presentation. We work with a small group of artists that have the ability to restore and repaint a bicycle frame that will absolutely amaze you. Their craftsmanship and ability to recreate the exact color hue of your particular scheme are without peer. Decals are often reproduced for obscure builders' marques and component manufactures.
Components are revitalized or sourced from a network of international collectors/specialists/hoarders, et al. to bring the bike of your dreams or the bike you mistakenly sold
in your youth back to rest where it rightfully belongs.
